Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Client Services Representative to join our team at Whitman-Walker. As a key member of our Client Services Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience from initial contact to appointment scheduling.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and Welcome Patients: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all patients, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
- Manage Client Data: Accurately input patient information into our electronic health record system, eClinicalWorks (eCW).
- Schedule Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments, verify patient identity and insurance, and ensure timely communication with patients and staff.
- Provide Administrative Support: Assist with opening and closing duties, perform same-day claim data functions, and maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, handling sensitive demographic and financial information with discretion.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Self-motivation, flexibility, and ability to provide support in a fast-paced clinic environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well under pressure.
- Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to all areas of diversity, including HIV status, color, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, and gender identity.
