Job Overview

SUMMARY: The Supply Chain/Warehouse Technicians play a crucial role within our Supply Chain and Maintenance division. Their expertise, hands-on experience, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential to ensure that aircraft remain in a state of airworthiness and are always ready for dispatch.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to ITAR regulations and standards.
  • Manage the tool and part distribution customer service desk in accordance with company policies, implementing effective tool control measures.
  • Inspect and verify received items by checking identifying information, assessing their condition, and ensuring compliance with purchase orders and packing lists, along with proper FAA documentation.
  • Utilize software for cycle counts and maintain accurate records of physical inventory and outbound shipments.
  • Receive all incoming materials both physically and in the system.
  • Maintain inventory levels by marking and placing items in stock, establishing reorder points, and reporting items that need replenishment.
  • Document inventory transactions by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, and removals of items.
  • Fulfill parts requests by issuing and delivering items as needed.
  • Physically and systematically relocate non-allocated materials to stock.
  • Compile reports and logs by analyzing information on stock usage, core returns, unused parts, and out-of-box failures.
  • Prepare parts and cores for daily shipment and log all relevant information.
  • Work independently to complete assignments within the given parameters and established routines.
  • Comply with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations.
  • Follow safe work practices and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Report any hazards or potential safety risks to a supervisor immediately.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • No specific certifications required for this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred: Associate degree.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is required.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly on the telephone.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and accessing aircraft via ladders and boarding stairs.
  • Ability to access confined spaces within aircraft.
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.

SPECIAL WORK CONDITIONS
