The Platform Product Strategist at Visual Lease LLC is tasked with overseeing both the strategic and operational aspects of essential platform components. This encompasses our Reporting engine and user experience, Connectors Marketplace and integration strategies, as well as Authentication and Authorization services, alongside the AI Platform service. This position demands a combination of technical expertise, strategic insight, exceptional communication skills, and leadership to ensure smooth integration and a consistent user experience across the platform while delivering value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Direction: Define and advocate for the long-term vision of platform components, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner closely with fellow Product Managers, Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Client Services to prioritize and implement platform initiatives.
  • Customer-Focused Development: Actively engage with customers, subject matter experts, and partners to collect feedback, transforming it into actionable product enhancements.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish ambitious yet achievable objectives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and foster ongoing improvements.
  • Technical Guidance: Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and robust platform solutions that meet the needs of various teams and end-users, in close collaboration with a Product Owner and Engineering Leader.
  • Empowerment and Support: Collaborate with Product Marketing, Training, Support, and Client Services to design pre- and post-launch activities.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Drive transformative changes within the Product organization and actively contribute to enhancing the department and its practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 5 years in product management, specifically within the SaaS sector, focusing on platform or infrastructure components. Proven track record in leading significant platform initiatives, demonstrating the ability to deliver value efficiently and iteratively.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Analytical and Communication Proficiency: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid experience in managing API-driven products, data reporting systems, and both backend and frontend technologies.
  • Agile Methodology: Demonstrated experience in an Agile environment, guiding product teams through iterative development processes.

  • Curiosity and Flexibility: A keen interest in identifying and utilizing new technologies, such as AI, to enhance platform functionalities.
  • Proactive Approach: Enthusiasm for rapidly implementing new ideas and a professional commitment to seeing projects through to completion.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in regulated or compliance-focused industries.
  • Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with contemporary cloud architectures and best practices.

Work Environment:

  • This position is fully remote, although attendance at team and company events is expected periodically.
