Job Summary:

  • Oversee the sourcing, tracking, and delivery of both physical and digital assets to production teams for live events.
  • Propose and maintain a comprehensive database of game-related content for remote productions and relevant ancillary programming.
  • Collaborate with Advertising Sales, Ad Trafficking, Graphics, and Music teams to ensure the timely delivery of sponsored and creative graphic elements to remote production teams, along with necessary copy.
  • Conduct quality control checks on video, audio, and graphic elements to meet broadcast standards.
  • Create high-quality, shareable content that aligns with the NBA brand and current and historical narratives.
  • Facilitate communication and manage the delivery of available content to remote productions and the Game Distribution Center.
  • Report directly to the Associate Vice President of Live Game Production.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop a content strategy that aligns with both short-term and long-term league objectives, in conjunction with the NBA calendar, player/team milestones, and current and historical narratives throughout the season.
  • Ensure all video and audio clearances are completed prior to content distribution.
  • Coordinate with Advertising Sales and Traffic teams to maintain, deliver, and ensure the quality of sponsored graphic elements in accordance with deadlines and production standards.
  • Work alongside the graphics team to guarantee the maintenance, delivery, and quality of graphic elements, adhering to production timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Music Coordinator to facilitate music requests for content and game production.
  • Engage with various internal departments to manage the database of available content and oversee necessary updates.
  • Directly liaise with game production teams regarding new content tailored for their respective markets.
  • Manage the distribution of content to live game productions, the Game Distribution Center, and the social media team.
  • Edit and proofread content-related copy as required.

Required Education/Professional Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a content manager.
  • Proficient in strategically sourcing and managing content.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organizational environment.

Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of current and historical NBA narratives and social media platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours during the sports season as needed.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
