Job Title: PCL - Pastry Chef

Join the Princess Cruises team as a Pastry Chef and be part of a dynamic and diverse culinary team. As a key member of the galley, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality pastries, bread, and other baked goods for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the production of pastries, bread, and other baked goods to ensure high-quality products are delivered to our guests.
  • Ensure that all products are prepared according to company recipes and standards.
  • Monitor and control food consumption in the assigned production areas to meet cost targets.
  • Participate in daily briefings with the Chief Baker to discuss operational performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct briefings with the bakery staff at the beginning of each shift to ensure they are aware of production schedules and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualification in Pastry/Bakery from a recognized training institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the bakery with at least 2 years experience as CDP Baker from high-volume production.
  • Strong knowledge of international bakery recipes and preparation.
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of the foundation of guest service and ability to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
