Job Description:

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Court Operations Specialist to support the Honorable Brandon Thompson in Hillsboro, Oregon. The successful candidate will provide courtroom support by preparing the courtroom and daily dockets, coordinating proceedings, operating and monitoring digital recording equipment, and completing log notes. Additionally, the candidate will swear in witnesses and jurors, process exhibits, verify pleadings, and research case statuses. As the bailiff, the candidate will ensure security and facilitate remote hearings as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Four years of responsible administrative experience in a moderately complex office or business setting.
  • Experience performing a variety of clerical or administrative support tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals in challenging circumstances.
  • Experience explaining processes, procedures, or policies.
  • Ability to identify and safeguard confidential information and materials.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $25.17 - $39.05.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday schedule.
