Position Overview: As a Customer Project Leader in the Water/Wastewater sector, you will oversee the comprehensive planning, staffing, direction, leadership, communication, and performance of all facets of the Order to Delivery processes for the Water/Wastewater Project Management Team.

Your role will be pivotal in aligning these processes with the strategic objectives of the US Business Operations and the National Sales Force Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for confirming the project's statement of work and contractual obligations with the client, including both technical and commercial aspects, serving as the primary contact for the duration of the project.
  • Create a detailed project timeline and validate it with the client to ensure alignment with expectations. Engage directly with internal manufacturing facilities, clients, and distributors.
  • Direct the execution of the client's project order, ensuring effective communication through kickoff meetings, tracking necessary resources, sequencing activities, and sharing technical requirements and project plans.
  • Monitor and manage the project's performance throughout its lifecycle. Key tasks include verifying task completion, overseeing the project team, managing change orders profitably, and facilitating the exchange of project updates among team members.
  • Lead the project closeout process, which includes financial reconciliation, confirming the arrival of job site equipment, installation, startup, and completion of training support through collaboration with internal systems, customer communication, and coordination with support services.
  • Provide innovative, value-engineered solutions and design options to fulfill client needs.
  • Address challenges through customer engagement, resulting in positive feedback and enhanced relationships.
  • Leverage knowledge of Schneider Electric products and demonstrate a solid understanding of essential project management principles, processes, and terminology.

The individual in this role will prioritize fostering employee engagement and development through structured coaching.

Qualifications:

This position necessitates a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Required knowledge includes medium and low voltage electrical distribution and control equipment, as well as proficiency in computer operating systems, particularly Windows.

Standard business application software experience should include: MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Access, along with familiarity with SEA and other business systems.
