Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Analysis Engineer to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a key member of our Product Analysis Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform failure analysis on explanted long-term biomedical implant products.
  • Develop and implement investigative protocols to identify root causes of failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Engineering, and Manufacturing, to resolve complex problems.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to less experienced lab staff.
  • Support the development of test equipment and quality responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and converse effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, and database management.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work in a diverse cross-functional team environment.
