About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Coffman Engineers. As a key member of our structural engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing complex structural systems for commercial and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial and industrial building projects
  • Collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to provide well-coordinated and high-quality structural drawings
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs
  • Meet with project teams to ensure effective communication flow during design
  • Interface with contractors during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications
  • Manage projects profitably and maintain a working relationship with clients
  • Work closely with the Office Manager and assist in office production management
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • M.S. degree preferred
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred
  • 10 or more years of experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills
