Technology Operations Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Technology Operations Manager to oversee our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives. This role will report directly to the Director of Technology and is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and security of our internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and support the development and implementation of the organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on systems that enhance internal operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project delivery and mitigate potential risks.
- Establish key performance indicators to effectively communicate the success of deployments and network operations to stakeholders.
- Utilize technology to enhance user experience through streamlined applications and integrations.
- Engage with leaders and end-users to select suitable technologies that align with organizational objectives.
- Lead the configuration and deployment of enterprise tools across the organization, providing ongoing support.
- Manage an inventory of products and applications, ensuring visibility for all technology leads.
- Communicate current issues and upcoming changes to staff in a clear and concise manner.
- Educate employees on best practices for technology use.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive support documentation for both support personnel and end-users.
- Prioritize cybersecurity by guiding users on safe information sharing practices.
- Establish and monitor best practices for data security and sharing.
- Support, install, and configure technology for various operational needs.
- Respond to support inquiries through multiple channels while ensuring a positive customer service experience.
- Maintain user-centric support practices.
- Act as a liaison with Managed Services Providers, overseeing project assignments and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Participate actively in the Technology Steering Team.
- Provide on-site support during events as necessary.
- Manage part-time technology staff for event-related support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of seven years in progressive IT management roles.
- Experience leading a small to medium-sized technology organization, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Broad knowledge across various IT disciplines, including hardware, software, data security, and connectivity.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows & Mac OS and Microsoft 365.
- Expertise in Windows core infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco technologies, including routing and switching.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
