Position Summary

The Technology Infrastructure Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the organization's IT framework and cybersecurity measures. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, this position is pivotal in developing programs and services that align with our technological objectives.

This role involves managing core technical operations, including network security, help desk support, and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in formulating and executing IT policies and systems that effectively meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and support the establishment and implementation of the organization's IT infrastructure, focusing on systems that enhance internal operations.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and to mitigate potential risks.
  • Define and communicate key performance metrics to highlight deployment and network achievements to the organization and executive leadership.
  • Utilize technology to enhance user experience through effective applications and integrations.
  • Engage with leaders and end-users across departments to select suitable technologies that fulfill essential organizational requirements.
  • Oversee the configuration and deployment of enterprise tools utilized across the organization, ensuring both initial and ongoing support.
  • Establish and manage processes for product and application inventory, ensuring visibility for all technology leads regarding applications utilized in different organizational areas.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding current issues and upcoming changes to staff in an easily understandable manner.
  • Educate personnel on best practices for technology usage.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation for all levels of support staff and end-users.
  • Prioritize cybersecurity awareness and lead users in adopting best practices for secure information sharing.
  • Establish and monitor protocols for data security and sharing.
  • Support, install, and configure technology for various operational settings.
  • Address incoming support requests via multiple channels while ensuring positive customer service experiences.
  • Develop and uphold user-focused support practices.
  • Act as a liaison with Managed Services Providers, delegating tasks as necessary and overseeing project outcomes.
  • Participate actively in the Technology Steering Team.
  • Provide on-site support during events as required.
  • Supervise part-time technology staff for event assistance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in IT management.
  • Experience leading a small to medium-sized technology organization; experience in a multi-site IT operations environment is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge across various IT disciplines, including hardware, software, data security, telecommunication systems, and connectivity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows & Mac OS and Microsoft 365.
  • Expertise in Windows core infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and NPS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, VoIP, and DNA center.
  • Ability to identify problem areas, propose solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
