Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Strategic Advancement to lead our organization's strategic direction and mission-driven initiatives. This role will focus on implementing our strategic direction, including grant writing and compliance, relationship management, community partnerships, and cross-program strategies to ensure the successful implementation and impact of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance our mission and achieve our goals.
  • Lead grant writing and compliance efforts, including researching and identifying grant opportunities, writing and submitting grant applications, and ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for our programs.
  • Collaborate with program leads to develop and implement effective community partnerships and advocacy strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with funding source requirements, agency-wide collaboration, and member network communication.
  • Establish, monitor, and integrate goal setting, program needs assessment, and program outcome measurement for each program and department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in grant writing and relationship management that demonstrates growth success.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
