Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute supply base strategies to support new product development and lifecycle value improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology match between suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies across the organization.
  • Define supply chain requirements for new product launches, balancing quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Act as a sourcing lead for new product launches, ensuring clear communication and coordination with sales, marketing, research, and development teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sourcing and supply chain management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • 3+ years of product sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing best practices in global sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO, FDA), ERP systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Negotiation experience and ability to meet cost targets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with product development and NPI teams.
  • Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers to drive innovation and cost savings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering or manufacturing background.
  • Experience within the medical device industry.
  • Direct experience working within SAP S4 HANA.
