Position Overview
Blueprint Spirits is actively seeking a dedicated Off-Premise Sales Specialist to enhance and expand our prestigious portfolio in the vibrant and competitive market of NYC. We specialize in offering exceptional craft spirits, wines, ciders, and bitters. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture effective relationships with accounts to promote the company’s goodwill.
- Represent our distinguished brands in a fast-paced market.
- Enhance brand visibility within existing accounts.
- Ensure proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and temporary point-of-sale materials.
- Manage accounts receivable collections in compliance with state regulations.
- Identify and develop new accounts to expand our distribution network.
- Address customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product details, and other relevant questions.
- Implement monthly and quarterly business activity priorities.
- Build relationships with account personnel and supplier teams to enhance customer service.
- Support the Marketing Team in executing brand development initiatives and placing promotional materials.
- Maintain product freshness as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with federal and state regulations.
- Passion for craft spirits, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to foster customer relationships.
- Valid NYS driver's license; access to a vehicle is essential for this role, as 90% of sales routes require transportation.
- Previous industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Background in spirits sales with a focus on mixology is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable with technology.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a solicitors license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English; bilingual (Spanish) skills are beneficial but not required.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position, with accommodations evaluated in compliance with the law.
