About the Position

The Executive Director of Operations is a vital role that requires strong leadership, sales expertise, and exceptional customer service skills. This position is responsible for driving membership sales through health and wellness education, maintaining a knowledgeable team that prioritizes dog wellness and safety, and providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Membership Sales: Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales through health and wellness education.
  • Maintain a Knowledgeable Team: Ensure that team members are knowledgeable about dog wellness and safety, and provide ongoing training and support to maintain high standards.
  • Provide Leadership and Guidance: Lead and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Drive Employee Development: Develop and implement training programs to help employees improve their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Uphold Quality Standards: Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with high-quality standards, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to employees to maintain these standards.
  • Promptly and Accurately Communicate Information: Communicate information from upper management to employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and Address Operational Needs: Identify areas where assistance is needed and provide support to ensure that operations run smoothly.
  • Create a Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Manage Client Expectations: Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded, and resolve any customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure Safety and Sanitation: Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs and employees at all times, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
