Assistant Director - Baylor University

The Assistant Director will support the mission of Baylor University by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of donors and prospects for major gifts to Baylor with an emphasis on Truett Seminary's Wesley House Studies. A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required, while a master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to travel outside of the state of Texas. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate fully in Advancement's prospect management, discovery/qualification visits, and related prospect development programs.
  • Establish yearly measurable goals/objectives with leadership for new gift commitments secured and prospect meetings held.
  • Collaborate with senior administrators in developing impactful philanthropic agendas consistent with Baylor's strategic plans.
  • Inspire trust, encourage creative thinking, and collaborate with Baylor staff and volunteers to increase private gifts.
  • Coordinate with college advisory boards to increase giving.
  • Perform all duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
  • Comply with University policies and maintain regular attendance.
