About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at 191 Aurora Medical Center of Oshkosh, Inc. This is a part-time position that offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering pertinent health information.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including strep tests, wound cultures, and specimen collection.
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice clinicians with procedures such as pelvic exams, allergy scratch testing, and EMG.
  • Administer routine medications under physician or APC orders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth clinic flow.
  • Perform basic and advanced clinical support tasks, including removal of sutures and staples, laboratory procedures, and phlebotomy.
Requirements
  • Active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
