Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs House Brokerage Operations Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing shipments to ensure service levels of clients are met on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to assigned customers, responding to inquiries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process Customs entries and PGA for clearance of goods, ensuring full compliance with all Customs and PGA regulations.
  • Coordinate clearance of shipments with forwarders, Steamship Lines, Airlines, to ensure timely release of shipments.
  • Complete customer billing and/or other required reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely submission.
  • Track and trace inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers/consignees.
  • Maintain customer SOPs and make updates as needed, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of CHB experience and 6-12 months of experience in the industry.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience.
  • Customs House Brokerage License, CCS or CSCP is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently.
  • Persistently drive issues to closure, working well under pressure.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $53,000-$58,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
