Job Summary

The Claims Resolution Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of claims against promotional offers. This role involves analyzing claims to determine their validity, clearing claims in accordance with ADW Acosta, client and customer policies and procedures, and communicating with internal and external business partners to resolve claims issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and clear claims against promotional offers
  • Analyze claims to determine their validity
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve claims issues
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in ADW Acosta, client and customer systems, policies and procedures
  • Use advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to research problem claims and assess the reason they cannot be completed
  • Proactively manage work to meet client and customer deadlines

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Background in business process solutions and/or brokerage field preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Accepts accountability for job performance; proactively informs others of problems that limit the ability to meet expectations
  • Accepts change as a normal part of doing business, maintains a positive attitude and exhibits constructive work behaviors during periods of transition
  • Effectively communicates with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to learn client systems to be able to resolve claims through their portals
