Job Summary

The Arc Eastern Connecticut is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in facilitating the independence and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized support and assistance to participants in areas such as personal care, recreation, and daily living skills.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of individualized support plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure participants' health and safety, including prevention of abuse and emergency response.
  • Provide transportation and prepare meals for participants.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent are required.
  • Basic computer aptitude and English language proficiency are necessary.
