Job Summary:

DSJ Global is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-volume, low-margin distribution environments and driving business growth through efficient labor and delivery costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and compliant work environment, minimizing OSHA recordable and Auto Chargeable Incidents.
  • Quality: Ensure accurate physical inventory through Standard Operating processes and bin count audits, and timely application of returned goods and customer credits.
  • Delivery: Engage drivers and warehouse staff to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.
  • Cost: Review and manage DC cost productivity, driving toward efficient labor and delivery costs per unit handled and delivered, and manage DC expenses to achieve monthly and annual budget/plan.
  • Team Leadership: Lead daily and weekly meetings with staff to identify and address issues, communicate messages and relevant changes, and develop, update, and share regular reports of DC performance with key partners.

Requirements:

  • Great experience managing in a high-volume, low-margin, high customer service distribution environment.
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation, and inventory.
  • Understanding of P&L statements and OPEX costing structure.
