Position Overview:


We are in search of a highly motivated ON CALL Banquet Server to become part of our team. This individual will assist in setting up and preparing banquet rooms for events, serving and clearing tables, as well as dismantling banquet spaces after functions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for events by draping tables, arranging silverware, folding napkins, preparing beverages, and placing table centerpieces.
  • Provide service by retrieving food from the kitchen, carrying trays to event locations, serving food, and clearing tables.
  • Assist in breaking down by bussing tables, storing dirty linens and centerpieces, and vacuuming.
  • Maintain cleanliness in back hall areas and organize storerooms.
  • Set up AM or PM refreshment stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages.
  • Assist with event room setup according to meal periods and table requirements.
  • Perform food and beverage preparation tasks such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are stocked.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, removing dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables and taking them to the kitchen.
  • Clean and sanitize tables and counters after guests have finished.
  • Provide explanations of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.
  • Consider any special requests and dietary needs made by guests.
  • Offer general property information and extend warm welcomes and farewells to all guests.
  • Interact professionally with staff, assisting other departments with necessary information.
  • Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items before serving.
  • Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction and additional service needs.
  • Address any guest concerns promptly and with care.
  • Assist other event and restaurant staff as required.
  • Maintain constant awareness of safety issues, such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, and suspicious individuals.
This position is On Call with a compensation of $20 per hour.
