Key Responsibilities:
The Industrial Counter Sales role encompasses various duties essential to branch operations, including:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining ethical standards.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
  • Assisting customers with product information and sales support.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records.
  • Coordinating product shipments and ensuring quality control.
  • Participating in ongoing product training to enhance knowledge.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operating machinery and handling products safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.
  • Experience in industrial distribution is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and forklift certification are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds, as well as standing, walking, and climbing as necessary.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $22.00 to $25.00, based on experience.
