Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
  • Manage a team of Commercial Lines Account Managers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processes
  • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients have appropriate coverage
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions for new and existing policies
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or similar role in the insurance industry
  • Familiar with Applied Epic system preferred along with Office 365
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
  • Property and Casualty Licensed
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
