Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Relationship Manager IV to join our team at Fifth Third Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a business plan to achieve financial goals and qualitative measures.
- Work closely with internal partners to deepen existing relationships and acquire new prospective relationships.
- Attend industry forums, conferences, and meetings to broaden relationship networks and deepen knowledge of trends and practices.
- Work with product partners to analyze, evaluate, and develop tailored relationship strategies for each client or prospect.
- Ensure customer relationships are managed to maximize opportunity for the bank while taking into account risk and customer needs.
- Meet with customers regularly to enhance trusted advisor relationship and ensure business needs are being met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 6 years commercial banking experience, with at least 5 years of sales experience.
- Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience required.
- Proven track record of partnership with investment bankers to provide strategic and capital market advice.
- Strong business acumen, including detailed analysis, review of financial statements, and understanding of accounting principles.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like. Extended viewing of CRT screen. Frequent travel possible depending on assignment.
