Position Overview:

Dal-Tile is on the lookout for a proactive Architectural Sales Consultant to enhance our market presence. This role encompasses all sales activities from initial lead generation to final sales closure, focusing on both specified and unspecified projects. The successful candidate will design and execute a strategic marketing plan aligned with personal and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with prominent commercial architectural firms within the designated market.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to secure regional and national specifications for our products.
  • Monitor commercial projects from specification through to completion.
  • Provide ongoing customer education through product updates and informative presentations.
  • Proactively seek both specified and unspecified projects to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track potential and upcoming projects, ensuring an accurate and comprehensive account list.
  • Foster strong collaboration within the regional commercial team.
  • Conduct regular job tracking meetings with the regional commercial team.
  • Maintain all reporting mechanisms, including CRM entries and expense reports, as required by the Regional Manager.
  • Assist in sales initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Stay informed on product and technical knowledge to provide the highest level of service.
  • Communicate market trends and shifts to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years of sales or industry experience within the architecture and design community is preferred. Experience in floor covering sales or slab products is advantageous.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary plus commission/bonus structure based on field experience and performance. Commissions and bonuses will be contingent upon achieving individual sales goals on a quarterly basis.
