Job Summary

Kaba Mas is seeking an Architectural Service Representative to join our Sales team. This position is responsible for promoting our entire North American portfolio of products, solutions, and services to architectural firms, design build firms, and government architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships with architectural customers by creating a deep understanding of our portfolio and its benefits.
  • Ensure that architectural firms' libraries are up-to-date with our literature, technical documents, and relevant samples.
  • Network within architectural firms to capture additional business opportunities.
  • Develop key relationships with firms' lead specification managers.
  • Coordinate RFAs and navigate approval procedures within a firm.
  • Represent our entire portfolio of solutions within an architectural firm.
  • Ensure that all specifications meet relevant local codes.
  • Prepare and present supporting documentation for specifications.
  • Defend our position against competitive RFAs.
  • Stay current with industry and territory knowledge and trends.
  • Work with Security Consultants as necessary.
  • Conduct AIA registered educational programs to architectural firms and association events.
  • Work with the Architectural Services Team to maintain consistent processes and procedures.
  • Consistently participate in professional training to maintain high-level market and solution knowledge.

Requirements

  • Associate degree; technical/vocational school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in the door and hardware industry preferred.
  • 1+ years architectural sales experience preferred.
  • Member Construction Specification Institute (CSI) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be customer-focused with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.
