Position Overview

As our cloud-centric design and manufacturing solutions gain traction in the industry, we are enhancing our educational engagement strategies to deliver these solutions to academic institutions.

We are assembling a team of enthusiastic, high-energy business development professionals eager to contribute to an innovative and fulfilling initiative.

This dynamic team is dedicated to promoting our complimentary offerings to design and manufacturing educational institutions across the nation.

As an Educational Partnerships Manager, you will engage with our Autodesk Learning Partners and directly with targeted educational institutions to elevate awareness and drive the adoption of Autodesk's complimentary, cloud-based solutions for design and manufacturing.

You will coordinate briefings, guest lectures, and workshops in collaboration with internal Autodesk Education Representatives and Autodesk Learning Partners.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with educational institutions.
  • Engage and assess inbound leads.
  • Lead discussions with educators to enhance existing design and manufacturing programs and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Autodesk Learning Partners to conduct pipeline reviews and ensure timely delivery of technology briefings, guest lectures, and workshops.
  • Boost the adoption and utilization of Autodesk's complimentary advanced manufacturing offerings.
  • Ensure the success of educators and institutions by thoroughly presenting Autodesk's complimentary technology, curriculum, and engagement resources.
  • Align target educational institutions' curriculum and technical needs with a predefined set of customer challenges and proposed Autodesk solutions.
  • Identify key stakeholders, programs, and facilities within educational institutions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of institutions, individuals, and activities for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Gather and share customer success stories and feedback with the broader AEX organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in sales and/or account management, focusing on qualifying new account opportunities.
  • Ability to operate independently within a structured, activity-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in making outbound engagement calls.
  • Background in account management or business development.
  • Proven track record of accurately reporting on territory/account activities.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Formal training in consultative sales techniques or methodologies.
  • Prior experience utilizing CRM solutions for account development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a channel ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing/Industry 4.0.
  • Previous business development or lead generation experience.
  • Strong influencing skills to initiate conversations and build relationships.
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment across various functions.

Salary Transparency

Salary is a component of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we anticipate a starting base salary between $65,000 and $112,200. Offers are determined by the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.

In addition to base salaries, we emphasize annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
