Job Description

Northrop Grumman is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the defense and aerospace industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Survivability Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced stealth technology solutions to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums. This will involve working with a range of technologies, including radar, infrared, and visual systems, to develop and implement effective signature reduction strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electromagnetic warfare, aircraft survivability, and stealth technology. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced stealth technology solutions to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums.
  • Work with a range of technologies, including radar, infrared, and visual systems, to develop and implement effective signature reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to support project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, physics, or computer science.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in electromagnetic warfare, aircraft survivability, and stealth technology.
  • Strong background in radar, infrared, and visual systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
