Stealth Technology Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Stealth Technology Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Survivability Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge technologies to reduce the detectability of aircraft in various spectrums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate stealth technologies to reduce radar cross-section and infrared signatures
  • Develop and implement radio frequency modeling and testing of complex classified targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stealth goals and balance design requirements
  • Utilize proprietary analysis codes and computational electromagnetic analysis tools to predict and verify design performance
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and diverse assignments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional/military engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience, or a Ph.D. and 0 years of related experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary computational electromagnetic analysis codes or similar tools
  • Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of applied electromagnetics, aircraft survivability, and electromagnetic energy transmission
