Position Overview: As a key member of the Staff Management | SMX team, the Human Resources Clerk plays a vital role in supporting various departments while fostering a collaborative work environment. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their skills in human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update internal job postings.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, including tracking vacation and sick leave, and ensuring new hires submit necessary documentation.
- Prepare payroll-related documentation, gather time and attendance records, and assist in resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Update databases and maintain candidate information, including scanning and organizing electronic files.
- Address employee inquiries and provide solutions to issues.
- Support onboarding processes and assist in training initiatives.
- Facilitate orientations and manage data entry for new hires.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments and work schedules.
- Promote effective communication between departments.
- Operate and maintain office equipment, such as printers and copiers.
Qualifications: Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, be at least 18 years old, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Work Schedule: This role offers flexible hours, typically requiring 20 hours per week, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.
