We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Administrator to join our team at Northside Imports. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support to our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll processes, including calculating payable hours, commissions, tax withholdings, and deductions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including preparing and issuing earnings statements and paychecks
- Oversee employee onboarding process, including processing new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment
- Manage electronic timekeeping systems, including tracking employee hours and leave requests
- Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment and benefits communication
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- 2+ years of experience working in a payroll and human resources department
- Proficiency in payroll software, preferably ADP payroll platform
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively
