Position Overview

Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is in search of a Regional Program Coordinator to enhance our national team. This is a full-time remote role within one of our designated regions.

Reporting Structure
The Regional Program Coordinator will report directly to the Regional Director and will be instrumental in expanding YAL's outreach and field initiatives across one of five designated regions: West, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, South, and Northeast.

YAL stands as the largest and most dynamic pro-liberty organization on college campuses across the United States. With a vast network of chapters and a significant number of student activists, our mission is to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young individuals who are passionate about advancing liberty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with YAL activists in the field, connecting grassroots leaders with the national framework.
  • Enhance the quantity and effectiveness of YAL chapters, members, activists, and leaders within each state.
  • Promote activism throughout the entire region.
  • Identify, recruit, and cultivate leaders within your region.
  • Design and implement national activism initiatives aimed at recruiting and educating new students, as well as gaining media attention and driving change on campuses.
  • Organize training sessions and mobilize YAL members for significant events.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to execute both short- and long-term plans to meet objectives.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Experience in managing, motivating, or mobilizing volunteers, whether in a paid or unpaid capacity.
