Job Overview

The Assurance Group is a National Marketing Organization seeking highly motivated sales professionals to join our team.


No prior experience in insurance sales is required, as we provide extensive training and support for new agents. In fact, we prefer individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as bartenders, servers, teachers, healthcare workers, and former military personnel.


This role involves meeting clients in person, so reliable transportation is essential.


As a Business Development Representative with The Assurance Group, you will have access to:

  • The freedom to set and manage your own hours
  • Extensive free training and ongoing real-time support

Please note that this is a 100% commission, 1099 role with a pathway to W2 status. While all leads and training are provided at no cost, there is no base salary. Meeting clients in person is an essential aspect of this role.


You will be responsible for meeting with potential clients who have requested information and helping them understand their qualification options. With an average sale per day, you can earn a very competitive income. Outstanding agents have the potential to earn significantly more.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • This is a commission sales role with a weekly pay schedule
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Life Insurance License (20 hour online self-study course)
  • Reliable transportation (We meet with clients in person)
  • Must be a People Person

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on performance and location. This figure is based on industry standards and the level of experience required for the role.
