Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Auburn, NH

Level: Experienced/Non-Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. This role primarily involves manual testing, with opportunities for growth into automation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases
  • Oversee defect management within our tracking system
  • Conduct testing on web-based applications, ensuring cross-browser compatibility
  • Analyze technical documentation to identify necessary testing
  • Generate reporting metrics as required
  • Plan and manage projects within the QA team
  • Contribute to process enhancements and the knowledge base

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience or relevant exposure through internships, co-op programs, or software development
  • Ability to work on-site in our Auburn, NH location
  • Experience in translating software requirements into precise and comprehensive test scenarios, including detailed test data identification
  • Capability to manage defects from inception to resolution with thorough documentation and validation steps
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies
