Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing workflows to discover potential enhancements.
- Design and execute process optimization initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency, minimizing waste, and elevating product quality.
- Oversee performance metrics and initiate corrective measures as needed.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to tackle quality challenges and enforce corrective measures.
- Engage in new product development efforts to guarantee manufacturability and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses and enact corrective measures for quality-related issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of quality control strategies and protocols.
- Contribute to the overarching quality management framework.
- Remain informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing and quality engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing context.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving proficiency.
- Expertise in statistical analysis and quality methodologies, including Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, particularly injection molding and assembly processes.
- Experience with quality management frameworks and tools, such as ISO 9001 and FMEA.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and MS Office suite.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.
