SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector Level II is a dependable professional with exceptional attention to detail and prior experience in manufacturing inspection. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct routine inspections to verify compliance with requirements and document results throughout all stages of development and processing (Development/Prototype, Incoming, First Piece, In-process, Final, Packing, and Shipment).
  • Assist in maintaining updated communication tools for all inspection activities (Incoming, RMA).
  • Perform inspections and verifications for RMA, documenting results in both manual and electronic formats.
  • Prepare, sign, issue, and maintain documented records for Certificates of Compliance.
  • Interpret and apply standards and specifications such as IPC and ISO 9001.
  • Inspect products and processes in accordance with relevant IPC Standards.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience as a quality inspector is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ability to communicate professionally through various channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Familiarity with PCBs, cabling, and wire harnesses is advantageous.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Trained in applicable IPC standards (e.g., IPC 610, 620, J-STD).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, reports, and documents. Proficient in effective communication across multiple site functions and with team members. Capable of presenting information clearly to management and public groups.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Involves operation of or proximity to materials and mechanical components, primarily moving machinery used in the manufacturing of electronic and cable products. OSHA-approved safety glasses with side shields are provided at no cost. Hearing protection is available due to moderate noise levels in the facility. Some processes utilize leaded and unleaded solder chemistry, with proper ventilation and Personal Protective Equipment provided.
