Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the IT Risk and Resilience Program at The University of Vermont Health Network. The successful candidate will work to identify critical business and clinical functions, develop continuity and recovery plans, and coordinate people efforts to ensure the successful response, recovery, and restoration of services following a disruption event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT operations continuity planning and solution development
  • Coordinate joint hospital and IT command centers and communications
  • Conduct business impact analysis planning and execution
  • Support business continuity and downtime planning and development efforts
  • IT service availability planning
  • Disaster recovery planning (IT focused)
  • Cyber recovery planning
  • Data restoration planning
Collaboration and Communication

This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to work with related programs and stakeholders, including supplier and third-party risk and contingency management, crisis and emergency management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or Information Systems or commensurate experience
  • 7 or more years of experience in an Information Security or Information Technology role
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in IT resilience, emergency management, or business continuity operations
  • Previous experience in healthcare
