Key Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in food preparation and presentation, striving for excellence and enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to the brand's menu and recipe standards.
- Promote a collaborative team environment where achievements are recognized and celebrated.
- Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff, preparing them for future advancement within the organization.
- Manage food cost and labor expenses to align with financial targets.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of food and supplies based on business forecasts.
- Process invoices accurately and conduct necessary audits with the finance team.
- Train staff on the proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment, emphasizing safety and sanitation protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food and beverage regulations and internal policies.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize loss and enhance operational efficiency.
- Make informed decisions in the absence of senior management.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a restaurant setting is required.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in launching a new dining establishment is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with POS systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Financial acumen with a track record of identifying revenue opportunities and managing budgets.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching and clear communication of expectations.
- ServSafe certification is mandatory.
- Must fulfill all requirements to obtain necessary security credentials, including a background check.
