Job Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist at Net Inc, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to businesses, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve technical issues, developing creative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement IT solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to technical support requests via phone, email, and tickets.
  • Document and track technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to LAN and WAN connectivity.
  • Configure and troubleshoot various applications and cloud-based solutions, including email and SaaS systems.
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance for contracts, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Install and configure servers and workstations, meeting company needs and requirements.
  • Provide end-user support for LAN and WAN applications, as well as remote users.
  • Assist with data recovery, using backup systems or recovery tools.
  • Perform manual and automatic backups, ensuring data integrity.
  • Manage PC and Laptop imaging processes, ensuring efficient deployment.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as requested, related to area of responsibility.
  • Assist with phone system moves, adds, and changes, as well as troubleshooting.
  • Conduct ongoing proactive assessments of LAN and WAN connectivity, hardware, software, and telephony systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and desire to learn, with the ability to ask questions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and self-motivate, with good time management skills.
  • Experience working as part of a team-based organization, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong systems administration skills, software configuration, and upgrades, with a focus on backup reviews and tuning.
  • Experience managing a Windows environment and supporting remote locations.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to use good business etiquette, with electronic mail and phone skills.
  • Ability to deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people.
  • Ability to make decisions that affect other people, financial resources, and/or the image and reputation of the organization.
  • Ability to work with external customers or the public through different media forms.
  • Responsibility for work outcomes and results.
  • Ability to lift at least 100lbs.
  • Ability to work long periods of time standing, walking, sitting, crouching, and bending over.
  • 5 years' experience in Technology Support or 3 years' experience in Technology Support for a Managed Service Provider.
