Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ParaProfessional to join our team at West Ada School District. As a ParaProfessional, you will provide critical support to our elementary teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional support to elementary teachers, including tutoring, individual and group assistance, and direction to students.
  • Assist in grading assignments, implementing lesson plans, and preparing materials and projects.
  • Prepare bulletin boards and exhibits, and assist in classroom activities as directed.
  • Supervise classroom activities in the temporary absence of a teacher, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Classroom experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Basic clerical skills, including typing, keyboarding, filing, and copying.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced classroom environment, and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff, and will be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
