We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ParaProfessional to join our team at West Ada School District. As a ParaProfessional, you will provide essential support to our elementary teachers, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide classroom support to elementary teachers, including tutoring, individual and group assistance, and direction to students.
- Assist in grading assignments, implementing lesson plans, and preparing materials and projects.
- Prepare bulletin boards and exhibits, and assist in classroom activities as directed.
- Supervise classroom activities in the temporary absence of a teacher, and perform other related duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Classroom experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, and demonstrate integrity, ingenuity, and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced classroom environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers, and staff members, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality support to our students.
