Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ParaProfessional to join our team at West Ada School District. As a ParaProfessional, you will provide essential support to our elementary teachers, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support to elementary teachers, including tutoring, individual and group assistance, and direction to students.
  • Assist in grading assignments, implementing lesson plans, and preparing materials and projects.
  • Prepare bulletin boards and exhibits, and assist in classroom activities as directed.
  • Supervise classroom activities in the temporary absence of a teacher, and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Classroom experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, and demonstrate integrity, ingenuity, and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced classroom environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers, and staff members, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality support to our students.
