Production Control Specialist, Lunar Operations

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Production Control Specialist, Lunar Operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of our spacecraft and launch vehicles.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate the availability and controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate manufacturing schedules and coordinate material availability to meet customer needs
  • Perform shop order release/closure in the MRP System and reconcile parts
  • Provide detailed status of work in progress and communicate constraints to schedule
  • Prepare work orders for part production based on master production schedules, shop loads, and inventory requirements
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics, and program

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of production planning or supply chain experience
  • Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
  • Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office, ERP experience with MRP execution desired
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • SQL or Advanced Excel Experience
  • Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel on occasion
