Space Operations Specialist

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. As a Space Operations Specialist, you will support the design, development, and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. You will work with a diverse team of specialists, technicians, and engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform asset tagging and audits in operational areas.
  • Cross-train in inventory and receiving support.
  • Review and process scrap.
  • Generate and perform cycle counts to evaluate compliance to process and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Safely and securely handle hardware with a forklift and/or pallet jack.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience, including handling, inventory, property management, and handling of energetic systems, hazardous waste materials, and raw metals.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, and shipping aerospace hardware.
  • Mathematical skills, including calculating percentages, area, circumference, volume, and conversion of units of measure and weights.
  • Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform elevated work.
  • An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
