At Blue Origin, we are working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in the success of our space exploration mission.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and working closely with OPM managers to plan and meet operations and test milestones for Mk2 Lunar Vehicles.

As a Program Manager, you will contribute to the annual and multi-year planning efforts for the overall group and support upward reporting cadence and metrics as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and work closely with OPM managers to plan and meet operations and test milestones for Mk2 Lunar Vehicles.
  • Forecast, establish, and maintain operations schedules, manpower and budgetary needs.
  • Work with Program Planning and Controls to coordinate the operational build schedule into the Lunar Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to define and prioritize efforts leading to and supporting operations.
  • Contribute to the annual and multi-year planning efforts for the overall group.
  • Support upward reporting cadence and metrics as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. Business, Engineering, Physics, Operations Management, or similar.
  • 6+ years' experience in the aerospace industry with engagement in program/project management and business management in a development and/or production environment.
  • Experience with planning complex aerospace integrated assemblies.
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for hands-on problem solving, with a passion for space systems.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Experience with Primavera, MS Project or Similar.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in engineering or project management.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • 9+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
