At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Structures Technician Sr., you'll play a critical role in building human-rated lunar landers that will take us to the moon and beyond. Your expertise in aerospace fabrication and integration will be essential in ensuring the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, and laser trackers.
  • Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections to ensure compliance with engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to support flight-critical hardware.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance area safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools and ability to read and interpret drawings and standards.

Desired:

  • 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration.
  • Experience with composite and metallic structure fabrication, including precision drilling and cutting.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of avionic instrumentation and harness assemblies.
