KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities Management> Conduct regular inspections of the campus and perform monthly safety evaluations.
> Submit requests for maintenance to address facility concerns.
> Coordinate vendor services and manage campus access.
> Assist in resolving facility-related challenges (e.g., maintenance requests, custodial services, etc.).
Nutrition Services
> Act as a liaison between the school and food service providers, addressing any food service challenges.
> Oversee daily operations and ensure accurate data entry in the school's meal program software.
> Organize and implement the collection process for lunch applications and household income forms to achieve targeted collection rates.
Team Development
> Engage in professional development opportunities offered by Green Dot and participate in individual and team meetings with your supervisor.
Inventory and Purchasing
> Maintain precise records of books and school supplies by coordinating annual inventories and managing data in Green Dot's inventory system.
> Collaborate with the School Operations Manager to procure necessary materials, books, and equipment.
> Ensure the organization of the school's book room, including proper labeling of all books and managing an efficient digital check-in/check-out system.
Student Services and Safety
> Facilitate the daily and weekly SART process in partnership with school administration.
> Organize health and safety training sessions and drills.
> Support the enforcement of campus safety protocols.
Operational Leadership
> Contribute to continuous improvement by assessing processes and recommending enhancements.
> Utilize technology to promote efficiency and improvements.
Additional Responsibilities
> Assist with student recruitment, lottery, and enrollment processes as needed.
> Support event planning and coordination efforts.
> Aid school staff in compliance matters related to funding, nutrition programs, safety, and record-keeping, including document retention and scheduling inspections.
Front Office Management
> Deliver exceptional customer service to parents, staff, students, and visitors, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
> Assist teachers with technology-related troubleshooting.
> Oversee copier operations and liaise with technicians for maintenance issues.
> Help manage student traffic in the main office, including discipline and medical situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
> A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
> At least 1 year of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an educational environment.
> Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
> Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
> Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides) and MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
> Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, perform well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
> A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.
> Discretion in handling sensitive information.
> Dependability, humility, a sense of humor, and a strong commitment to the mission of Green Dot Public Schools.
> Successful completion of a TB test and background check is required upon offer acceptance.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The starting hourly rate for this position is $25.58, based on educational qualifications. Green Dot offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
