Job Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Paralegal & Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. As a hybrid role (2 days at home, 3 days in the office), this individual will provide high-level support to our Talent Acquisition Recruiters, ensuring seamless execution of recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in HR software, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to deliver results with accountability.

Your Role:

As a Paralegal & Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist, you will:

  • Assist the TA Team with job requisitions slated for contractor conversions.
  • Coordinate and schedule new employee start dates, ensuring adherence to Hanger's onboarding policies.
  • Draft and execute offer letters and employment agreements using document-signing software technology.
  • Assist in the creation of job requisitions, posting open positions to job boards, sending out assessments, and sourcing high-volume job reqs.
  • Support various recruiting process functions, including document management, candidate dispositions, background check results collection, and coordinating candidate travel arrangements.
  • Create or update PowerPoint presentations primarily used for reporting KPIs or trainings for customers/hiring managers.
  • Escalate or redirect Talent Acquisition-related issues as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with other business units, including Finance, Operations, Benefits, Human Resources, and Payroll.
  • Assist in ad-hoc Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Requires 4 years of experience as a Paralegal or related experience in TA/HR, and a high school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Talent Acquisition, HR Specialist role or legal profession.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of creating legal and formal documents, preferably with paralegal experience.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably iCIMS or Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, resume databases, online communities, and social media recruiting strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
