Job Title: Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our production team at Empire Parking Lot Services in Orange, California. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair all assigned vehicles, equipment, and associated items without assistance.
  • Develop a preventative maintenance program and service schedule.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for proper operation and condition.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and operational problems.
  • Work effectively on gasoline and/or diesel engines, and all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electronic systems.
  • Manage pre-trip and post-trip Inspection Reports to identify, track, and complete necessary repair and maintenance.
  • Train truck drivers and operators on how to correctly inspect and maintain their assigned vehicles and monitor maintenance activities.
  • Accurately document all service and repair work.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of mechanic or repair technician experience.
  • Valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 100-pounds and repetitive climbing and dismounting from a high vehicle cab.
Work Environment:
  • Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and extreme cold and/or heat.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Occasional exposure to the risk of electrical shock or burn.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday with weekends and some holiday and evening work required.
