Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team at Alta Equipment Group. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

About the Role:

  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
